There are many ways to share a connection from a computer to a phone. Can be via USB cable, bluetooth, or hotspot. Meanwhile, if you want to share to many other devices, of course using a hotspot is the right choice.
Just like on a cellphone, a computer can also create a WiFi Hotspot to share the internet, and all that is needed is an external WiFi adapter. Unless you are using a laptop, there is no need to install additional tools.
You too no need to install additional programs, because Windows 10 already has a feature to create a simple Mobile Hotspot that can be set up with just a few clicks.
Tutorial on Making WiFi Hotspot on Windows 10
The Hotspot feature on Windows 10 is very simple like on a cellphone, but users can choose a WiFi network to redistribute or not be limited to a modem or LAN network. So when your computer/laptop is connected to a WiFi network, it can be redistributed from Hotspots like Access Points or Repeaters.
Here’s an easy way to create a Hotspot on Windows 10:
Please go to Windows Settings.
Click menu Network & Internet.
Next click menu Mobile Hotspot.
In the Mobile Hotspot section, click the button
Fill in the WiFi Name/SSID and also the password. In the Network band section, you should keep it set Any Available.
If you click the button
Now turn on the Hotspot.
Done, now Hotspot has been activated and the device name will be detected if someone is connected.
Hotspot security used in Windows 10 is WPA2-PSK, and unfortunately it can’t be changed to any other type of security. In addition, there is no limit to the maximum total number of devices that can be connected.
From my experiment re-share the WiFi connection 20Mbps to several devices, the results are satisfactory and the distribution of internet speed is also good. But there are still drawbacks, where when other devices download large files, the internet speed will have an impact on other devices.

The Hotspot feature in Windows 10 is more devoted to personal use, because it does not have a feature for speed sharing. If you need more features, it’s a good idea to install a WiFi Hotspot maker program.
And one more addition, namely the Mobile Hotspot feature on Windows 10 cannot be activated if the computer/laptop is not connected to the internet network at all. So if you can’t activate it, the cause is an internet connection that is not available on the computer.
Hopefully useful and good luck
