Dry & dull skin certainly makes the skin look unattractive and of course it can make you less confident to appear in public. Now before discussing further about how to deal with dry skin, here are some factors that cause dry and dull skin:

  • Pollution such as smoke, dust and dirt on the skin
  • Bad habits such as lack of rest, smoking and alcohol consumption
  • Dehydration or lack of body fluids
  • The weather is too indifferent or too old in an air-conditioned room

So, here are some treatments using natural ingredients that are safe for all skin types in dealing with dry, scaly and dull-looking skin:

Rose water, lime, egg and olive oil to treat dry skin
Do this 15 minutes before your morning shower to treat your dry skin.

Ingredient

  • A few drops of rose water and lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil and orange juice
  • 1 egg yolk

Mix all the above ingredients thoroughly and evenly then apply to the parts of the skin that feel dry and dull 15 minutes before taking a shower. Using it 3 times a week before bathing will help get rid of dry and dull skin.

Yogurt and Fruit as an Exfoliator for dry skin
The fruits below act as exfoliators or help remove and remove dead skin cells while yogurt retains moisture in your skin because it has lactic acid which essentially acts as an exfoliant and can brighten the skin. So you get double benefits, it not only helps get rid of dry skin but also helps brighten your skin naturally. Choose one of the following types of fruit to mix with yogurt:

  • Pawpaw,

  • Pumpkin
  • Avocado

Choose one of the fruits I mentioned above to form a thick porridge or paste. Mix about 1 tablespoon of yogurt with the mashed fruit you chose earlier and stir until evenly mixed. Apply the mixture on your face or other parts of the skin that are dry, dull or flaky and rub gently on the area. Leave it for about 10 minutes and rinse with cold water. You can do this any time after or before taking a shower.

Sugar scrub for dry skin
Sugar is the best natural ingredient that acts as a natural exfoliator to help remove dead skin cells.

Ingredient

  • Olive oil or virgin coconut oil and sugar

Mix the sugar with the oil that is already available. The sugar portion should be twice the oil portion. Wet the skin with water, and rub the sugar scrub on the skin gently. Scrub according to your needs, but do not rub until your skin rash. Rinse with clean water.

  • A few drops of rose water

Take a ripe banana. Puree it in a blender or mash it. Apply mashed banana as a thick mask on the face and under the neck. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash off with warm water.
